Treading a small town on the Minnesota River

Art, history, the outdoors, local knowledge, music - all weaving together.

This project brings multiple lenses to the experience of this place, whether you’ve lived here your whole life or you’re just exploring. With some of the oldest exposed rock in the world, a rich and complex human history, and an astonishing list of present, vanished, and returning flora and fauna, Granite Falls is a place ripe with story.

This project is funded by grants from Forecast Public Art, the Granite Falls Area Community Foundation, and Countryside Public Health. We’re extremely grateful that such generously-minded organizations see the value we do in immersing oneself in place.
